The world premiere of Beethoven's 9th Symphony took place on May 7, 2024. Exactly 200 years later, this musical event was celebrated at the Musikverein with a performance by the Wiener Philhamoniker, the Wiener Singverein under the baton of Maestro Riccardo Muti. The soloists were Julia Kleitner (soprano), Marianne Crebassa (alto), Michael Spyres (tenor) and Günther Groisböck (bass). The concert was recorded and can be viewed until November 8, 2024.
